Discovering Cuba

Welcome to World Photo Tours!

Hello. My name is Tod O’Driscoll, and I am a professional documentary photographer.

You are invited to join us on an intimate 8 day Photographic journey (travel provided by Insight Cuba) April 16-23, 2012 to Cuba where you will meet Cubans of different walks of life in Old Havana, Cienfuegos (the “Paris of Cuba”) and colonial Trinidad.

My friend and colleague Otto von Munchow will be joining me as the other instructor for this tour. Otto is an extremely gifted professional photographer and instructor who has photographed all over the globe. He really enjoys sharing his love and knowledge of photography with others, and has been to Cuba many times over the last 20 years. As a result, he is very familiar with the country, it’s people and culture. (As a matter of fact, the beautiful image above of the famous Malecon esplanade in Havana was made by Otto).

Travel is provided by Insight Cuba. Insight Cuba provides legal travel to Cuba, as it has a People-to-People license from the U.S. Treasury Dept. (OFAC). People-to-People travel means that each day we will be interacting with and getting to know Cubans from different walks of life.
